Valentine Lechkun (they/them) is an 18 year old artist with a love for words, and for the seemingly mundane. They fell in love with reading hidden between dusty shelves before school, and fell in love with writing years later. As both a writer and an artist, Valentine evokes visceral imagery in what they create, reaching the reader through their mind's eye and painting an image in their imagination. They love seeing how the ordinary can be twisted into something beautiful, terrifying, holy, or even a combination of the three.
